With the Goal of Sustainable Energy: We Have Completed the Installation of a Solar Power Plant at Our Niğde Yarn Factory
In today’s world, where serious environmental issues such as climate change caused by fossil fuel waste are experienced, we at Işıl Tekstil act with full awareness of our responsibility. In this regard, renewable energy investments to meet the energy needs of our facilities have become one of the top priorities of our company.

As a first step, a pilot Solar Power Plant (SPP) project was planned at our Niğde Yarn Factory, and our 5 MWe capacity SPP was commissioned at the beginning of 2025. We are very pleased to share this important development with you.
Our facility has quickly proven its high efficiency; thanks to our choice of the latest technology Topcon 585 Wp panels and Huawei brand 100 kWe inverters, the highest performance has been achieved. Following this success, we would also like to share that we have decided to make new SPP investments across all our operations.
To express the numerical contributions of this small but meaningful pilot SPP project to nature:
Thanks to this energy production facility, 4,690 tons of greenhouse gas emissions have been prevented annually, 11,390 trees have been saved, energy equivalent to the annual consumption of 2,212 households has been produced, and thus the energy dependency of our Niğde Yarn Factory on external sources has been significantly reduced.
With the commissioning of our company's planned total investment of 80 MWe SPPs in the near future, 78,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions will be prevented annually, 189,833 trees will be saved, and energy equivalent to the annual consumption of 36,866 households will be produced. In this way, significant savings will also be achieved in natural gas consumption, which constitutes a major part of energy needs.
We would like to emphasize once again that our company, which has played an important role in our country's development and has been operating successfully for over 40 years, will continue to steadfastly fulfill its responsibilities in the process of reducing its carbon footprint.
